Breast Cancer Care Show

Leading UK charity Breast Cancer Care is on the hunt for models to strut their stuff in its annual fundraising fashion show.

The Breast Cancer Care fashion show claims to be a ‘fundraising event like no other’ in that all models on the catwalk have been diagnosed with breast cancer.

Living with the loss of self-esteem and the side effects of chemotherapy and radiotherapy can be not only debilitating but very isolating. So the show is instrumental in proving to women and men that, despite a diagnosis of breast cancer and the results of treatment for the disease, it is still possible to look and feel good.

A previous model said of her experience: “Thank you so much for giving me the wonderful opportunity to model in The Show, and to create some unbelievable memories and to meet the most amazing group of people. I am still walking around with a grin on my face and a warm glow in my heart. I have not left that cloud yet and it is hard to believe it all really happened.”

If you’d love the chance to have your hair and make-up done by a professional, be styled by the fashion expert Hilary Alexander, and to experience the feeling of owning the catwalk in front of 1,600 people, then this could be right up your street!
