The Live Better With Boutique at Browns is now open

Earlier this month, Live Better With launched the first store dedicated to helping ease the side effects of cancer at Guy’s Hospital’s Cancer Centre in London.

Already, we’ve had some wonderful feedback for our Live Better With Boutique at Browns store, with the Business Insider and local Southwark News sharing the exciting news.

Last night, we also had the amazing opportunity to showcase our new store on ITV  News London.

During the news segment, our founder and CEO Tamara Rajah, explained why our store is so unique and also shared some of our most popular products – including the Care + Wear PICC Line Cover.

Young cancer survivor turned cancer campaigner, Sophie Trew, then discussed the importance of “normality” when being diagnosed with the disease.

Going through some of our lighthearted cancer greeting cards featured in the store, the 26-year-old explained: “There’s a lot of sympathy when you get diagnosed and actually these [humourous cards] kind of normalise it. And one of the big things you really long for when you’ve been diagnosed is normality.”

To wrap up the segment, Clinical Director for Oncology at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Annie Rigg revealed that even though it opened just two weeks ago, patients from other hospitals have been recommending the store to others.

The Live Better With Boutique at Browns is the result of an exciting partnership between Live Better With and wigmakers, Browns More Hair Now.

It is the UK’s first physical shop where cancer patients and their loved ones can find products to help with the symptoms and side effects of living with cancer. From breast prostheses, mastectomy bras and bespoke gift hampers to books, wigs and cancer headwear, The Live Better With Boutique at Browns is an ultimate one-stop destination for those living with cancer.

The store sits on the ground floor of the £160 million Guy’s Cancer Centre which opened last September as part of a vision to develop world-class cancer care at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS trust.
