Dermatix is a transparent, quick-drying gel that can be used for rapid and discreet treatment of sensitive tissue and scarring. It maintains the skin’s moisture balance whilst forming a protective layer over the tissue, preventing infection and promoting healing.

• Polysiloxane, Silicon Dioxide

The recommended minimum duration of treatment is two months. Apply twice a day in the morning and evening.

1. Clean the area to be treated with mild soap and water, pat dry.
2. After the wound has healed, apply a thin coat of Dermatix Gel on the scar and rub it in.
3. Allow the gel to dry for 4 to 5 minutes. If the gel hasn't dried, remove excess product.
4. Optional: Apply make-up over the Dermatix gel to cover the scar.

Precautions:

1. Dermatix® should not be applied to open or fresh wounds, placed in contact with mucous membranes or too close to the eyes.
2. Dermatix® should not be applied over antibiotic skin preparations or other skin treatment products.
3. Dermatix® Gel may stain clothing if not completely dry. Dermatix® should be applied to clean, dry skin only.
4. If redness, pain or irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult your physician.

Results were remarkable after the first use!
After 5 hours surgery. I had significant the scaring. This is helping visually, physically and mentally.

My doctor prescribed this to me after surgery for skin cancer. The scar was raised, bulky and the itch was driving me crazy. It was only prescribed after my first check up so regrettably I didn’t use it perhaps as early as I should have. I tried a few other well known different products with no visible difference. I didn’t think anything would help and thought I’d just have to live with it, but as the scar was on my chest I was self conscious about the clothing I wore showing off the scar. Within a very short time of using this product I noticed a difference, the scar is definitely to as raised and appears to be flatter already and paler in colour. My only regret is I wasn’t prescribed it from the early days after the surgical procedure. I’m going to continue using it, I’m optimistic about my scar fading further with use. I find the gel very easy to apply, yes it’s slightly sticky but it dries quickly so that certainly doesn’t put me off. Hope this helps anyone who’s upset by an ugly scar to make a decision on whether to use this or not.
